Question

Do the AGOTs get a new meet outfit each year? I'm thinking they don't but wasn't sure. I was wondering since there are a couple of AGOTs that I'd *really* like to have but since I have #16 in the most recent jeans and windbreaker set, I was wondering if they were due for a change soon.

No biggie, really. I can always change the doll into something else and even keep the meet outfit to sell when it retires. Just thinkin' and ramblin' but if anyone knows for sure, I'd love to hear back! Thanks!

Ok, so would they be coming up on an outfit change soon or is there another whole year for this one yet?

    Yep.

    Next year I would think.

This year is the second year the meet outfit we have now has been around.

Do you know you can return the meet outfit for a credit towards any outfit you would like better? I know people on the board have done it, although I personally haven't.

Oops, sorry mykids, I thought you were asking the same thing, duh! No I sure didn't realize that, I may just try it sometime. I'm guessing it's once you have the outfit home, then you call AG to see if you can return it towards credit on something else. That would be cool!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">You can exchange it for an outfit of equal value.

Just mail the meet outfit back to AG in a spare box you have lying around.

The meet outfit changed from the purple sweater/green skirt to the current one in August 2004. If they stay with their 2 year cycle, it should change this summer or fall.

You can return the current meet outfit. You can copy the back of a return form or print out the form on the website. The product code is GMOG, and the cost is $26. You don't need a product box. I've returned mine (four now) in ziploc baggies and in a plan old cardboard box. For me, the price of the postage back to AG, which is just a dollar or two, is worth getting your doll an outfit you really, really want.
